KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of your training, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will help you build a solid foundation in store operations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Learn and participate in all aspects of store operations roles and responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive store culture
- Assisting customers, identifying needs, and recommending solutions
- Processing sales transactions and handling payments
- Tinting and matching paint accurately for customer orders
- Participating in inventory management and merchandising
- Receiving and stocking inventory
- Supporting store administration and paperwork
- Learning and applying personnel management best practices
- Gaining exposure to purchasing, operations, and P&L management
- Building cross-functional relationships across departments
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as duties evolve
The ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, personable, resourceful and hard-working — a leader adept at decision-making, problem-solving and multi-tasking.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
- Familiarity with paint or similar industry a plus
- Spanish-English bilingual strongly preferred
- Willingness to relocate for future promotional opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable leading and working in team settings
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Dependable, flexible, and professional
- Committed to ethical behavior and high standards of integrity
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and distinguish colors accurately
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate by phone
- Must pass a background check
